Fitted with mono-comfort handles as standard, the new MB 655 VS is packed full of features making mowing large lawns quick and effortless. The innovative mono-comfort handle design improves access to the grass box, so emptying it is much easier. The MB 655 VS is fitted with an innovative blade brake clutch (BBC) system, this time saving feature allows the grass box to be emptied without ever having to stop the engine. For piece of mind, the blade brake clutch system also helps to protect the crankshaft against damage from objects hidden within the grass. All 6 series mowers come standard with a 3 in 1 cutting system, this means the mower can be used to cut and collect, mulch or as a cut and drop machine without having to change the blade

    The catcher box can be 100% filled, thanks to the optimised design shape and air guide. The air vents face downwards so that grass and dust do not escape upwards. The two-part catcher box design ensures easy opening and emptying.

    VIKING mulching kits include a mulch insert and multi-blade. With the rear opening closed using a mulch insert, the grass is chopped up into fine particles, returning nutrients and moisture to the lawn.

    Multi-blade

    The multi-blade cuts the grass gradually and then chops it into fine pieces in the housing. When used with a grass collector box, the finely cut grass is directed by the multi-blade straight into the box to ensure it is filled to capacity. When used with the mulch insert, the grass is chopped up into fine particles which are returned to the grass.
